The notes and images from attempting contact with the child spirit (座敷童子) from Japanese folklore that resides in my western Pennsylvanian apartment.
I'm still in Pittsburgh for the time being.
Spending lots of time in the apartment. Lately, I've been hearing pattering footsteps which remind me of 座敷童子.
Nobody else home except me & the cat.
I wonder if there is a child house spirit in this Western Pennsylvanian home.
I asked my mother about it on the phone today. She said it would be extremely lucky if one was here.
If I happened to catch a glimpse of it, I would know. They are children about 10 years in age. With a short bob cut and a red kimono.
